Background

Located on the beautiful coast of Crescent Beach, BC, ICM (Imitating Christ Ministries) provides a Christian retreat and missionary training centre for local and global communities through ICTC (Imitating Christ Training Center).

Established in 2007, ICTC has served over 500 missionaries, their families, and over 175 churches worldwide.

However, not just since 2007, but over the past 80 years, the retreat site at ICTC has served many Christians and missionaries worldwide through evangelism, prayer conferences, missions training, and church retreats.

History of ICTC

ICTC is located on a spiritually significant site, where the Vancouver Evangelistic Tabernacle Missionary Society first utilized the land as a youth and church family camp during Canada’s western revival in the 1940’s.

Afterwards, the church offered the property to Faith Missions Society to continue evangelizing the rural areas of Canada. When Faith Missions’ location moved further inland, they passed it down to ICTC.

In 2007, after many years of praying for a place for Korean missionary training, ICTC purchased the center through the partnership of churches with the same vision and the sacrificial donations of many saints to further God’s Gospel in Canada and throughout the world.

ICTC Rebuilding Project

Today, ICTC continues to provide churches locally and globally an inspiring place of rest for retreats and yearly sabbatical training for missionaries.

However, with facilities that were built during the 1940’s, buildings are nearing their end of life, requiring a Rebuilding Project.

To rebuild deteriorating facilities that were built 60-80 years ago, we are raising $300,000 for the first stage of ICTC’s Rebuilding Project by challenging our local and global communities to donate $30 and share with 10 friends.

Through this project, we hope to continue providing an inspiring place of rest for missionaries and churches, while raising awareness for all Christians to partake in God’s mission to take the Gospel to the ends of the earth!

ICTC is part of ICM (Imitating Christ Ministries), a 501(c)(3) organization with offices located in Canada and USA. All donations are tax deductible to the fullest extent allowed by tax laws in Canada or USA. Please include a gift note for “Rebuilding Project”.
